New to our studio?
Come and experience a new way to do Pilates
Welcome!
We’re excited to welcome you to our Springboard Pilates studio for your first class!
We want you to feel comfortable and prepared, so here’s a little insight into what you can expect from our welcoming studio and team.
At Back2Back, we specialise in Springboard Pilates. It’s a dynamic, full body workout that uses resistance and controlled movement to help you build strength, improve posture, and feel more connected to your body.
Our classes are suitable for all fitness levels, with options to modify every exercise. Whether you are brand new to Pilates or returning after some time away, our experienced instructors will guide you through each movement and make sure you feel supported.

What's a Springboard?
The Pilates Springboard is a wall-mounted apparatus that uses springs for resistance. Unlike the Pilates reformer, it has no moving carriage which allows you to focus on your own body's movement and stability.
Springboard benefits:
✅ No moving carriage (ideal for people with balance issues or vertigo)
✅ Challenging for core stability
✅ Allows for a huge variety of functional movements (standing, sitting, etc.)
✅ Quickly adjust the exercise intensity by positioning yourself closer or further away from the board
Watch our instructor Lizzie show you how to get around the Pilates Springboard!
Please aim to arrive at least 5-10 minutes before your class starts so our friendly instructors can give you a quick tour and help you get comfortable. We'll always explain how the Springboard and class will run before we begin the warm-up.
Arriving at the studio
In addition to your delightful self, you may wish to bring a bottle of water, grip socks, and an optional small towel. If you forget or need grip socks, you can purchase these at the front desk.
What should I bring?
Double denim is recommended… but if that’s not possible, we think anything that you can move your body freely in will be fine!
